CONFIGURABLE PRODUCT ORDER POLICIES
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. These Product Pre-Order Rules (hereinafter – the Rules) establish the mutual rights, obligations, responsibilities, and recommendations between a person placing an order for products via the online store www.brasa.lt, in the UAB "Brasa" showroom, or by email communication with a UAB "Brasa" sales representative (hereinafter – the Buyer) and UAB "Brasa" (hereinafter – the Seller). By placing an order, the Buyer confirms their acceptance of these Rules.
1.2. The Buyer may submit a product order by completing the order form in the online store at www.brasa.lt, by visiting a UAB "Brasa" showroom, or by sending the order by email to a UAB "Brasa" sales manager.
1.3. When placing an order, the Buyer undertakes to: 1.3.1. provide accurate measurements and quantities of the ordered products; 1.3.2. describe any special requirements not specified in the product order form; 1.3.3. provide relevant drawings or project files where such submission is required; 1.3.4. acknowledge that the products are non-standard, and prior to confirming the order, the Buyer must review recommended profile dimensions, load capacities, and segment sizes of the relevant components.
1.4. Upon receiving a product inquiry, the Seller undertakes to contact the Buyer within three (3) business days.
2. ALUMINUM PROFILE PRODUCTS
2.1. HANDLES
2.1.1. Aluminum profile handles are cut according to the dimensions and drawings provided by the Buyer.
2.1.2. Cut edges are polished and mounting holes prepared. If the selected profile is milled, edges are milled 40 mm from the ends by default.
2.1.3. When ordering a handle from black anodized profile, the cut edges will remain aluminum-colored (e.g., P-A24j profile).
2.2. ALUMINUM PROFILE FRONTS AND GLASS PRODUCTS
2.2.1. When ordering aluminum profile fronts with hinges, the Buyer must specify hinge details (color, type, functionality).
2.2.2. When ordering fronts for milling only, the Buyer must provide hinge milling drawings or a manufacturer’s item code. If none is provided, hinges will be milled 100 mm from the frame edge and centered. Only hinge holes are milled (screw holes are not drilled).
2.2.3. Handles and hinges are not mounted to the aluminum fronts.
2.2.4. Unless otherwise specified, hinge sets are provided in nickel (aluminum) color.
2.2.5. When ordering glass-included products, the Buyer must specify the full glass type (e.g., tempered bronze tinted glass), desired edge processing, profile color, and specifications for any accompanying hardware, including color and functions (e.g., black external hinges with soft-close function).
2.2.6. Unless otherwise specified, mirrors are supplied with protective white film (for white/aluminum profiles) or black film (for black profiles) on the rear. Mirror edges are polished.
2.2.7. Unless specified otherwise, glass is supplied 4 mm thick, with polished edges, and not tempered.
2.2.8. For glued-in glass (frames using profile P-11), glass may be 1–3 mm smaller than the frame. This is not considered a manufacturing defect.
2.2.9. Upon collecting glass products, Buyers are advised to inspect them immediately and report any visible damage or defects to the Seller.
2.2.10. Recommended maximum dimensions for aluminum frame doors:
2.2.10.1. P-01, P-08 – 2100x600 mm (hinged doors);
2.2.10.2. P-03, P-04, P-12, P-13, P-09 – 2400x600 mm (hinged doors);
2.2.10.3. P-11, P-18 – 2400x600 mm (hinged doors). Note: For doors exceeding 2000 mm in height, insert 1–2 inner reinforcements from P-18 profile to strengthen the frame (visible only from inside).
2.2.10.4. P-22, P-23, P-S6X/26 – 3000x600 mm (hinged doors).
2.3. STRUCTURAL ALUMINUM PRODUCTS (CUBE, iQube)
2.3.1. Recommended specifications:
2.3.1.1. Maximum single module size: 400x800x400 mm;
2.3.1.2. Maximum load per module: 20 kg;
2.3.1.3. Maximum load per P-IC/K bracket pair: 20 kg.
2.4. LED LIGHTING
2.4.1. LED lighting is assembled and manufactured based on the Buyer's drawings, dimensions, and technical requirements.
2.4.2. The Buyer must assess the technical suitability of each component (e.g., IP rating for dust/moisture, specifications) before selecting LED lighting solutions.
3. VISIBLE PRODUCT SIDE
3.1. Quality assessments are performed from the visible side, i.e., the part seen when installed and used as intended. Evaluation is done under normal conditions, from a minimum distance of 100 cm, at a 90° angle, for no more than 30 seconds. If no defects are observed, the front is considered acceptable.
3.2. Protective film/corner protectors (if any) should be removed only after full assembly, as they safeguard the surface during transport and installation.
4. ANODIZED COATING DIRECTION
4.1. When anodized profiles are joined at an angle, edge color variations may occur depending on the light source angle. This is a characteristic of brushed coatings.
5. PAINTING SERVICES
5.1. POWDER COATING
5.1.1. Powder coating is an eco-friendly, high-quality method for coating aluminum, steel, and related parts. Powder is applied dry and fused to the surface via heat. No chemical solvents are used.
5.1.2. The Buyer must specify the RAL color code and gloss level (percentage) or desired finish type (e.g., matte, glossy, sand).
Note: The same RAL color may appear differently on various surfaces (glass, aluminum, board).
5.2. WET PAINTING
5.2.1. Wet painting uses high-pressure spray techniques and is typically selected when heating is not possible or RAL colors are unavailable. Wet coatings are less resistant to wear.
5.2.2. The Buyer must specify the desired color code according to a standard palette.
6. INSTALLATION, USE, AND MAINTENANCE
6.1. ALL PRODUCTS
6.1.1. Aluminum and LED-integrated products are not intended for outdoor use or direct water exposure.
6.1.2. Products must be protected from prolonged sunlight exposure, which may cause fading.
6.1.3. Extreme temperatures or rapid changes can damage the products.
6.1.4. Products are intended for indoor residential use in stable temperature/humidity conditions.
6.1.5. Products are not designed for outdoor environments or exposure to weather.
6.1.6. Recommended operating temperature is +18°C to +25°C. Products must not be placed closer than 1 m to heat sources.
6.1.7. Avoid exposure to: sunlight, steam, mechanical impacts, liquids, or chemically aggressive substances. Surfaces should be dried immediately after contact.
6.1.8. Use only designated furniture cleaners; avoid cloths or materials with abrasive particles. Wipe surfaces with soft fabrics such as plush or flannel.
6.1.9. Do not allow dirt or spills to remain on surfaces for extended periods to avoid permanent staining.
6.1.10. Hinges, lifts, and drawer systems may require periodic adjustment and lubrication. Screws should be tightened regularly if they loosen.
6.1.11. Microscratches may remain after cleaning and are not considered defects. These are inherent to high-gloss or lacquered surfaces over time.
6.2. PAINTED AND LACQUERED FRONTS
6.2.1. Do not use aggressive cleaners or those containing chlorine or acids. Avoid abrasive sponges.
6.2.2. Protect surfaces from impacts and sharp objects. Even light impact may cause chipping.
6.2.3. Clean surfaces with a soft cloth and use only products formulated for such finishes.
6.2.4. Do not use polishes on kitchen furniture unless certified for contact with food. Color variation during replacement of elements is not considered a defect.
6.3. GLASS PRODUCTS
6.3.1. Glass is fragile and may break due to impact, overload, or temperature shock.
6.3.2. Use care when opening doors with glass. Do not overload glass shelves.
6.3.3. Prevent glass from contacting hard/heavy objects.
6.3.4. For drilled glass (handles/locks), use only the recommended protective washers and bushings. Lubricate threads to avoid loosening.
6.3.5. Only mechanical tools may be used to install handles (no power tools).
6.3.6. Open/close glass parts gently and avoid excess force.
6.3.7. Use only designated glass cleaners. Do not use abrasives or metal fiber sponges. Remove shelves before cleaning to avoid damaging cabinetry.
6.4. FURNITŪRA GAMINIUOSE
6.4.1. Neuždarinėkite baldų durelių ir stalčių didesne, nei juose sumontuota pritraukiamoji galia (mechanizmams su pritraukimu).
